Our Wedding

Sometimes the best things happen when you least expect them.Mitchell and I first met through work, and for years we were simply part of each other’s lives. Over time, a friendship grew, countless memories were made, and eventually we decided to take a chance on something more.Since then, we’ve built a life together filled with adventure, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Much of that time has been spent on boats, fishing together, and making the most of every opportunity to get outside. One of our favourite memories is bringing our sweet Stevie along for a beautiful May long weekend at Little Sturge Lake.We’ve spent weeks abroad soaking up the sun, and countless days along the shores of Northern Ontario’s lakes, creating memories we’ll carry with us forever alongside family and friends. During those years, we also made one of our best decisions—bringing home a little golden puppy named Doug—and a few years later, Murphy joined the family, completing our crew.Along the way, we’ve turned two houses into homes, celebrated life’s milestones, and built a life we are incredibly proud of. Through every chapter—big or small, ordinary or extraordinary—we’ve continued to choose each other, growing a partnership that is even better than we ever imagined.On March 21, 2025, along the rocky shoreline of Grand Marais after breakfast at the Blue Water Café, Mitchell asked me to spend forever with him. Surrounded by one of our favourite places and the beauty of Lake Superior, it was the easiest “yes” of my life.We are so grateful for the journey that brought us here and cannot wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you on August 22, 2026.Love, Mitchell &amp; Fabiola 🤍

We have been best friends since 1st grade, building a friendship that's lasted through every stage of life. From playing hockey together for the VP Bearcats to spending weekends on the golf course and enjoying the occasional beer, we've shared countless memories along the way.

Siobhan came into my life almost 10 years ago, and we instantly connected. Since then, she has been family—sharing in my happiest moments, supporting me through life’s ups, and celebrating so many milestones together. She has welcomed me into her world as much as I have hers, and having her as my Maid of Honour means everything. I can’t wait for a lifetime of memories and Aperol Spritzes with the perfect partner.

Cody and I first met on the hockey rink 10 years ago and bonded over our favourite teams, the Philadelphia Flyers and Toronto Blue Jays... although we don't quite see eye to eye come football season. These days we spend most of our time in jail—counting down the days until the next camping and fishing trip.

Marissa is my oldest friendship, going all the way back to 8th grade. From crushing over boys and sharing earbuds on bus rides home listening to Selena Gomez, spending our 19th birthdays getting lost and unforgettable camping trips on islands, she’s been there through it all. We’ve walked through so many of life’s biggest moments together—meeting our forever loves, her wedding, the birth of her son—and now she gets to see me walk down the aisle. Marissa has always been my grounding presence, the reminder of who I really am, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side.

Keon and I started out as rivals on the softball field, but thanks to our wives, we've become great friends. Turns out they knew what they were doing all along.  They say third times the charm; this will be the year we get our moose.

Sometimes the best friendships take time to find their way. Jessica and I met over 15 years ago in school, but it wasn't until we reconnected at work years later that our friendship truly blossomed. I’m so grateful for all the laughs, memories, and friendship we’ve shared since. I love and cherish our soccer nights, watching Jessica score a million goals, and celebrating life’s wins together with a Belgian Moon in hand. Having her by my side on my wedding day means so much.

Jenna didn’t just welcome me into the family—she made me feel like I’d always been part of it. We truly bonded during weeks of camping at Kab Lake, over countless rounds of Dutch Blitz, Screw You Crib and golf, and those late nights in the trailer filled with laughter. Her sense of humor, kindness, and ability to turn any moment into a good time make her truly special. I’m so lucky to have her by my side on our wedding day.

Lenio is my future brother-in-law and one of the easiest people to have around. Whether it's family gatherings, sharing laughs, or a round of golf.  I'm grateful to have him standing by my side on our wedding day.
